GENERAL INFORMATION

Term: 6 months

Reports to: Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

Description: The Scribe keeps the troop records. He records the activities of the Patrol Leaders' Council and helps keep a record of advancement, and Scout attendance at troop meetings.

Comments: To be a good Scribe you need to attend nearly all troop and Patrol Leaders' Council meetings. This position can be used for Star, Life and Eagle advancement.

SPECIFIC LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attends and keeps a log of Patrol Leaders' Council meetings.
• Records individual Scout attendance at both Troop meetings and at campouts.
• Records individual Scout advancement progress.
• Works with the Troop Advancement Committee.
• Sets a good example.
• Enthusiastically wears the uniform correctly.
• Lives by the Scout Oath and Law.
• Shows Scout Spirit.
